Architecture Experience and Dome Walk

This architectural experience presents Louvre Abu Dhabi as a work of art in its own right. Across seven stops, participants explore Jean Nouvel’s idea, the museum-city by the sea and the engineering behind its immense, layered dome.

Light, water and geometry act together. The famous rain of light is produced by overlapping patterns and changes as the sun moves. The 90-minute programme culminates in a special walk inside the dome’s structure—a part of the building normally hidden from visitors.

Groups are limited to 15 and the minimum age is 13. Closed, flat shoes are required; general museum admission is not included. Each participant receives a catalogue devoted to the architectural project.
