Quantum Dome Project: A Journey Through Time
Virtual reality transports visitors through cultural landscapes and historical periods.
Until 31 December 2026
Quantum Dome Project transports a group of visitors into three historical worlds: Imperial Rome, medieval Baghdad and Mughal India. This is not a solitary headset experience, but a shared virtual journey in which participants inhabit the same digital space.
Over 30 minutes, cities, knowledge and artistic traditions take shape around the viewer. The experience complements the museum’s universal narrative: after entering these reconstructed worlds, the real objects in the galleries are easier to imagine as parts of lived cultures rather than isolated display pieces.
Sessions accommodate up to ten people, are available in Arabic, English and French, and are suitable for visitors aged eight and above. The project is advertised until 31 December 2026; the official page lists tickets at AED 40 for adults and AED 20 for visitors under 18.
Schedules, prices and availability may change. Please confirm the latest details before your visit.
